You like high technology?
You are fascinated by the hectic activity of the harbour?
You want to discover more of Hong Kong Harbour?
Challenge yourself with the KM Koo Ship Bridge Simulator, now available for free at the Maritime Museum…Pier 9
I tested the KM Koo Ship Bridge Simulator last week and i must admit details just like animations are absolutly impressive.
The access to the Simulator is limited to 15 people maximum but you can book in advance and even organise Corporate activities or family birthdays around that exclusive activity. For admission, simply collect a complimentary ticket upon arrival at the Visitor Services Counter and visit the simulator on A-deck as per the designated timeslot.
“Sponsored by Valles Steamship Company Limited, the HK$4.7 million KM Koo Ship Bridge Simulator now installed at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum boasts the city’s most state-of-the-art control deck for ocean-going vessels”
Only 3 other simulators of that type are in use in Hong Kong, for professional Pilotes…controll board and visual effects are very realistic, weather changes as well, from Typhoon to snow, from deep waves to strong mist.A real discovery…
The Museum team made me the following confession: a version of Hong Kong harbour in the past is in the pipes…That could be so great…
